Seek HQ - Breakout Tables
A large part of the Seek HQ project for us were the series of 12-seat and 8-seat bespoke dining tables designed for the staff breakout spaces on each floor.
This series of six tables were made in two sizes; nominally 3m x 2m and 2m x 2m
Each featuring tiled tabletops, with tile colours selected by the Hassell Studio team to suit the colour schemes on their respective floors.
Each colour block pattern is unique and is framed in solid American Oak, supported by a lattice-like under frame, and large diameter round legs, also turned in American Oak.
These timber frames were each stained a colour complimentary to the tiles used.
Balancing tile tolerances and various material characteristics with our design intent made these were a complex table to design and make. All while designing for knockdown capability for onsite assembly.
