Seek HQ - Dilettante Tables
The final pieces we made for Seek HQ are two made-to-measure versions of our ‘Dilettante’ table, originally released in 2020 and resized for Seek’s top floor - a space dedicated to entertainment for staff and functions.
Made in solid American Hard Maple, these ‘Dilettante’ tables establish a heavy, yet finely detailed presence through their use of two monolithic tapered bases, supporting a boldly proportioned dovetail shaped beam.
The 40mm thick tabletop has a soft radius to the long edges, and is held in place using a sliding dovetail button system devised by Josh, fixing the table top to the base, while allowing for seasonal timber movement.
The sum of these details present a nice example of our uncompromising commitment to combining fine furniture fundamentals, with the attention to detail we have become known for.
